2. We get in touch with the landlord immediately
We contact the landlord and introduce you. The more information we have about you, additional tenants and your reason for coming to Berlin, the better. This enabled him to gain a personal picture and to get an okay very fast.
We also answer all your questions, of course.
3. Viewing of an Apartment
It is possible to view the flat, of course. If the flat is currently rented, we have to organize an appointment with the current tenant.
Crocodilian has checked all apartments, so a viewing is not really necessary. You find a video on each exposé.
4. Rental Contract and Documents for the Anmeldung
The rental agreement is bilingual and can be concluded online. It only takes a few minutes. Please send us a copy of your ID and your working contract before. You will receive all documents, necessary for the Anmeldung (registration at the Bürgeramt) before you move in.
5. Payment of Rent and Deposit
You pay the rent and the deposit: The deposit is due when the rental agreement is concluded. The first rent has to be on the account of the landlord (or Crocodilian) before you move in. If you move in on short notice, cash payment is sometimes accepted. Please note that it is not possible to pay the rent and the deposit via Paypal or credit card. There are no fees for tenants, by the way. Before you move in, you arrange the time for the handover with the landlord.
The landlord is your contractual partner, but Crocodilian is always there for you during the whole rental period.
If something does not work, is broken etc. Just give us a call. We would be pleased to help.
Please also let us know if you want to extend the lease. We will prepare the new contract for you.
